Colonial Ridge Retreat is located within the coastal village of Salamander Bay and is a scenic 2½ hours drive north of Sydney.

Driving Instructions

From Sydney or the South of NSW

• Take the Sydney to Newcastle Expressway north and follow it right to its end.
• At the roundabout turn right and follow the “Pacific Highway 1” signs to Hexham and then left over the Hexham Bridge.
• After crossing this bridge turn right towards Port Stephens and follow the Nelson Bay signs.
• Turn left towards Salamander Bay at Port Stephens Drive, then left into Soldiers Point Road.
• Colonial Ridge Retreat is approx 1km from the turn off, on your left (past the local shops).
